In addition to welcoming large groups of friends and workmates for entertainment for Christmas or birthday or other celebrations at our comedy clubs, AmusedMooseComedy can provide rather more, and that's not limited to including buffet, or organising private parties with comedy and a free bar and buffet etc at one of the AmusedMooseComedy venues, or elsewhere.
We are comedy consultants who provide comedians and performers for your own events (including corporate events and launches you may need hosting, or entertainers or livewire afterdinner speakers - we have access to the biggest comedy names if your pocket is deep enough). We produce comedy at a venue of your choosing, and also specialise in supplying comedians for television warm-ups, as well as stage/film/voiceovers/radio and particularly television including gameshows etc. Anything in the comedy area in fact is no problem! - we travel round the world sourcing top performers for comedy performances in the UK and much further afield.
To summarise, fundementally we book comedians and comedy actors/performers/magicians into theatres, comedy venues/clubs, events, tours, shows, plays, and private/corporate functions and award ceremonies.
ALSO WE ARE CONSULTANTS TO TELEVISION COMPANIES IN PARTICULAR, BUT ALSO RADIO AND EVENTS - eg WORKING ON FORMATS, LOCATING SUITABLE PRESENTERS AND PERFORMERS AND WRITERS/COACHES - AND ADVISING ON PROGRAMMING, STRATEGIES, AS WELL AS CREATIVE ELEMENTS.

In the last couple of years we've booked Harry Hill, Eddie Izzard, Al Murray, Bill Bailey, Ricky Gervais, Jimmy Carr, Frank Skinner, Dylan Moran, Ross Noble, Omid Djalili, Jerry Sadowitz, Nina Conti, Mark Thomas, Jeremy Hardy, Stewart Lee, Richard Herring, Barry Cryer, Richard Belzer, Hattie Hayridge, Reg D Hunter, Flight of the Conchords, and many many more.
Whether you are wanting a household name or someone less wellknown, we can wave the magic wand. We've worked with them all including some brilliant fledgling comedians too - remember that Ricky Gervais, Frank Skinner, Jimmy Carr and Eddie Izzard were fledglings once, so ignore the best fledglings at your peril - our tried-and-tested ones can delight!
If you want to have an AmusedMooseSoho comedy show for a special occasion, either just yourselves with a large group of friends and/or workmates, or a corporate event or charity gala, or a festival, we can almost certainly help you! We have access to household name comedians you'll see regularly on telly (yes truly), comedy award winners, as well as reliable, laugh-a-minute circuit stand-ups. Their styles range from one-liners, to droll observational, to upbeat high energy, while some include comic songs, impressions, magic etc.
As we've already said it can be at your place, at AmusedMooseSoho or AmusedMooseCamden, or somewhere else altogether.
You can choose the comedians if you'd like to, or leave that to us (it is our speciality after all) - once you've briefed us and given us a budget. We can book in comedians who meet your particular specifications eg agerange (from 19 to 70), gender, culture - just ask, you'd be surprised who we can find for you. If you want material specially written and performed for that occasion, this too is possible, but at a price of course - some comedians are delighted to do so.
Incidentally our usual criteria for selecting comedians is that a young couple of a first date in the audience, or someone with their mother or teenage daughter, would not be mortally offended - however that does still provide quite a lot of leeway (generally comedians are ruder live than on television), and don't assume that we wouldn't have some pretty outrageous offerings if that's what you require. On the other hand we can book a whole show of cerebral comedy, which'll still have you in stitches, or visual, or a gaynight, or character, or just plain wholesome, or musical comedians, or even magic - just tell us what you'd like.
