Alex Zane (Rude Tube, Balls of Steel, and Sky Movies)
Alex Zane is a presenter, writer and comedian.
He began his career at the age of 18 when he became a finalist in SO YOU THINK YOU’RE FUNNY at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. After appearing at the Edinburgh Festival in 2002 in a show produced by Amused Moose Comedy, Alex Zane was offered a contract with MTV, hosting the film review show Screenplay as well as fronting the channel's flagship show TRL.
It was during this time Alex starred in the remake of Dawn of the Dead as third-zombie-from-the-front as well as again donning the guise of a zombie for George Romero's Land of the Dead. He also has a small part in Duece Bigelow: European Gigolo, but not as a Zombie.
A talented radio broadcaster, Alex began working at London radio station Xfm in 2002, and hosted the station's prestigious breakfast Show for 2 years.
Alex also currently hosts Channel 4's Rude Tube, and is the face of Sky Movies. He is also the regular film reviewer for The Sun.
His extensive TV credits include Channel 4's Balls of Steel, Screenplay and TRL (MTV), Bill Bailey's Bird Watching Bonanza (Sky1), T4's Popworld, Orange Unsigned Act, and 8 out of 10 Cats (Channel 4).
His writing credits include The Eleven O'clock Show (C4), Brain Candy (BBC3), The Sketch Show (ITV1) and Kelsey Grammar Presents... (FOX USA)
