Benny Boot ('Incredible sharpness of wit' Edinburgh Guide)

Australian comic Benny Boot was a finalist in NBC's Last Comic Standing and was invited to the Vancouver Comedy Festival in 2005. He then appeared on Dave's One Night Stand (Dave) and has since been a regular headliner across the UK, and debuted his first solo show  at the Edinburgh Fringe "Set Up, Punchline…Pause for Laughter"in 2011, followed by sellout runs of "Def-Con 4" (2012) and "As Seen on TV" (2013).

Boot delivers his jokes in a unique style on variety of strange topics. His engaging persona & material keeps the laughter rolling through the entire show and is guaranteed to bring any audience undone. He stormed the Altitude Comedy Festival last March and stood out, in of a line up of top acts such as Tim Minchin, Jimmy Carr and Frankie Boyle as the act that got everyone - audience, critics and comics - buzzing.
