Brenda Gilhooly (aka Gayle Tuesday)
Brenda Gilhooly is best known to millions in her guise as Gayle Tuesday, the "Page Three Stunna" who has appeared in many television shows including The Lily Savage Show (ITV), The Jack Dee Show (ITV), Tonight with Jonathan Ross (Channel 4), Top of the Pops (BBC One), and of course Gayle's World, a comedy series on ITV in which Brenda wrote and performed many different roles. Gayle's World won "Best Light Entertainment Show" at the Royal Television Awards in 1997.
Brenda has worked extensively with Harry Hill, writing and performing with him on many of his shows, including triple BAFTA, Royal Television Society and British Comedy Award-winning Harry Hill's TV Burp (ITV1), Extreme Soap (ITV1) and Harry Hill's Fruit Fancies (BBC Radio 4 and C4). Alongside Paul O'Grady, Brenda also wrote all the scripts for Lily Live (ITV1), as well as appearing regularly on the show as Gayle Tuesday. She also appeared as Petra in Al Murray's sitcom Time Gentleman Please (Sky One).
Gilhooly returned to television as Gayle Tuesday in 2010 with the Living series: Gayle Tuesday: The Comeback.
