Carl Hutchinson (Amused Moose Laughter Award top ten 2012)
Originally from the North East of England, now residing in Manchester, Carl Hutchinson first took to the stage in 2007 and quickly became a multi-award winning comedian. In August of that year Carl reached the final of the esteemed So You Think You're Funny competition held in Edinburgh and in October of the same year he was crowned the winner of the Beat the Frog World Series competition held in Manchester. Not content with just one award he headed to Camden in October 2008 to become the Mangers Pub Comedian of the Year. The following year in February 2009 Carl was nominated for the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year.
He stared in ITV's FHM Comedy Hero in 2010 and was part of Just the Tonic's Big Value Edinburgh Showcase in 2011 (**** Three Weeks). Carl supported former three-time wrestling heavyweight champion and bestselling author Mick Foley on both of his UK Comedy Tours; 2011 and 2012 respectively. Carl then supported Chris Ramsey on the last leg of his 'Offermation' tour in 2012.
His debut Edinburgh Fringe Festival solo show 'Acceptable?' (***** Three Weeks, **** Broadway Baby, **** One4Review & **** Fest) made the Top 10 shows of the Amused Moose Laughter Awards 2012.
