Liam Speirs
Liam Speirs is a stand up comedian originally from Glasgow now based in London. He has been on the comedy circuit since June 2005. Liam's open, friendly style has made him popular with audiences up and down the country with a set ranging from anecdotes through quick fire jokes to the surreal and silly (think schoolboy humour).
Liam has performed twice at The Edinburgh Festival, in 2005 performing at various comedy club gigs, and in 2006 doing a half hour set as part of the Laughing Horse Free Fringe which gained good reviews and a packed house every night.
Liam is also a classically trained actor. His most notable work was when he played the role of Medviedenko in Anton Chekhov's 'The Seagull' at The Jermyn Street Theatre in London's West End and the role of W.B. Yeats at the Yeats Festival in Sligo, Ireland, directed by the great James Ellis.
