Patrick Spicer ("Cheekiness, silliness and tongue-in-cheek": Chortle)
Patrick Spicer, an Amused Moose National New Comic finalist 2019, is 28 and lives in London.
In the short time Patrick has been performing comedy, starting in 2016, he has also been nominated for Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year, and starred in over a dozen videos for viral social media platform The Hook (often with 2+ million views), and written and starred in online sketches for BBC3, most recently featuring in a pilot for a 10 part miniseries.
Patrick is a stand-up comedian quickly making a name for himself with a distinctively playful, relaxed stage presence and offbeat, unpredictable writing. He already performed in, and been booked back, in some of the best comedy clubs around the country, from Brighton's Komedia to Edinburgh's Stand, as well the most wellknown comedy clubs in London.
2019 sees Patrick also doing his first solo 45 minute Edinburgh show Now I've Seen Anything about (but not just about) a stupidly premature experiment with drugs, managing the lifelong anxiety that caused, and managing the managing of that with alcohol.
