Heralded by the comedy cognescenti as one of the finest stand ups currently plying his trade, Richard's utterly original approach has captivated audiences all over the world. Richard has been astounding audiences both on the London circuit and at the best comedy clubs nationwide as well as headlining on The Comedy Network in 2001 and 2002, leading to his debut appearance on The Stand Up Show (BBC1).

Richard is one half of the hugely successful Garth Marenghi team, for which he received a Perrier Award nomination in 2000 at the age of just 23 with their debut Edinburgh Festival show Gareth Marenghi's Fright Knight. The following year Richard won the Perrier Award with Garth Marenghi's Netherhead which went on to sell out its entire three week run at London's Soho Theatre before embarking on a national tour, the culmination of which was a run of sell out performances at the US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado.
