AMUSED MOOSE SOHO’S AWARDWINNING COMEDY NIGHT OUT
Tonight's five excellent comedians, onstage at Soho's upmarket rock'n'roll Sanctum Hotel are all top-notch, which together makes this the coolest comedy night in town, hosted by ARCHIE MADDOCKS who introduces FUNMBI, DOUGIE DUNLOP, CARLY SMALLMAN and JIM CAMPBELL.
Tickets are always in demand for these multi-awardwinning and 'TimeOut recommended' comedy nights, featuring the best stand-ups on the comedy circuit and festivals worldwide, brilliant handpicked breaking talent, and maybe comedic highflyers who you will recognise from television doing secret gigs, in the plush "Variety Viewing Room" which doubles as the hotel's cinema.
Delight not only in tonight's mirthmakers but also in quality food and drinks in this swish boutique hotel with the feel of a private members club, with its classy restaurant and bars where you will be welcome long before showtime, and long afterwards too.
To make the most of your night out, enjoy a 20% discount at Sanctum's luxurious Remix restaurant on meals ordered between 5pm and 7pm. Restaurant reservations are made by calling 020 7292 6102, and then quoting 'Show Dinner'. Social Food dishes for aftershow can be ordered in the interval at any bar.
Comedy-goers socialise and mingle before the show, during the interval and until late, in the upmarket restaurant bar or the hotel’s delightful rooftop bar - both serve an extensive range of cocktails and craft beer.
Showtime is 8.15pm until about 10.40pm; the comedy room with its own bar opens at 7.45pm.
Tickets: £12.50 to £15 (any unsold tickets, cash-on-the-door).
Venue: Sanctum Soho Hotel, 20 Warwick St, W1B 5NF; there is a free cloakroom at the hotel reception.
Piccadilly Circus, Oxford Circus and Leicester Square stations are only a few minutes walk away.
Seating: If you'd like to sit with friends who will arrive separately, someone should arrive when the doors open and know the number in your group.
Seating cannot be absolutely guaranteed for late arrivals.
The venue is airconditioned, and totally wheelchair accessible except the rooftop bar (do notify comedy@amusedmoose.com asap so that seating in the comedy room can be re-arranged).
Birthday groups are very welcome, but no single-gender groups of 6 or more. (See Small Print below)
SMALL PRINT
1) No under 14s (14 to 17 year olds must be accompanied by a responsible adult)
2) Local bye-laws require venues to refuse admission to anyone who appears to have been pre-drinking, so come straight to the venue rather than elsewhere first.
3) Because of potential annoyance to others, Hen Nights, Stag Nights, and single gender groups of 6 or more will not be admitted.
4) Anyone causing a nuisance or disturbance will be required to leave.
The venue (not the comedy night) have responsibility for the above.
NB: No refund will be made in any of the above circumstances, because it is assumed that everyone is aware of, and accepts, these terms.
5) Occasionally performers may unexpectedly become unavailable, so do check if you are coming to see a particular comedian. Neither they nor Amused Moose Comedy accept any liability in respect of their non-appearance, but Amused Moose Comedy will do all possible to replace them with another comedian of similar or higher standing
